On an irrelevant note

I switched from Qwest to Comcast recently because Qwest's site didn't display the actual prices for their services (even in the fine print...) I've been pretty happy with Comcast so far though recently this happened to me. I get these messages over and over asking me to call Comcast (probably to wait on hold forever). In checking my account it would appear that my automatic payment setup has decided not to actually automatically pay my bill... The crazy thing is that if you go to make a one time payment you get a warning that auto pay is on. So I signed up for automatic payments before my first bill was due and yet nothing has happened and Comcast blames (and calls) me over it. So I've made the one time payment and am hoping auto pay will start working after 2 months like the article I linked talks about.

Still Coming along

So I'm falling behind on my updates, due to not feeling all that well last week. As such I've decided to throw up my work in progress for the png optimizer refactoring article. With Halloween and all it will probably not be for a little over a week until I get a chance to finish it off and get to my Grand Canyon photos. The WIP isn't much but hopefully it will hold the attention of the tens of people that read this site :)
Almost ready to start recovering from my vacation

So my friend leaves early tomorrow morning. I have some HDR shots from my s95 (both bracketed and in-Camera) but my python refactoring article will be out first. Not really sure on any timelines as my house is going to require a good deal of cleanup in the coming days... We made ribs which were awesome but messy. Anyway shouldn't be too much longer. As always the RSS feed is the best way to know.
Cleanup Article on the way but delayed

The PNG Optimizer refactoring article is in the works but will probably be a little over another week. A friend of mine is coming to visit so I won't be getting any work done on the site until at least the 18th of Oct. Of course if you subscribe to my RSS feed, you'll find out as soon as the article is ready.

I just got finished typing up a new tutorial for the site. I've been seeing a good deal of traffic on the site for my S95 HDR review but some of the google keywords seemed to indicate that people were looking for how to actually use the feature rather than now good it is. So Here you go. As well as this I'm currently working on a PNG Optimizer cleanup article where I'll go through refactoring the original script in preparation for continued parallelization work, hopefully I'll have it out this week.
